How it works
I will first ask you a little bit about your running history and goals. We'll then go through the biomechanics of running; all of this will take about 10 minutes.
Then the personal video analysis begins! I will video your running form and make a personalized plan to improve your technique. I will then give you exercises to do based on the three fundamental skills of running: Posture, Rhythm, Relaxation.
Then I will take another video of your new running form so you can see the difference.
One-on-One Natural Running Coaching Sessions include a composite video of your ‘before’ and ‘after’ videos and drills for you to work on at home. Sessions take about an hour.
We will meet at Engineer's Gate, 90th Street and 5th Avenue, in the Upper East Side. I need to bring heavy equipment and this location is convenient for our session. You can take the 4/5/6 train to 86th St and walk north/west. You can also get there with the M86 crosstown bus, or any uptown bus. If you want to meet somewhere else, just let me know where and I will add travel time and cost to the session fee.
You can wear anything you feel comfortable running in (there is no place to change close-by so wear them to the park). You can bring a bag or anything else and we will keep an eye on it, but don't need to bring anything special for the session. There is a water fountain close-by. You will see me there, as I will have an olympic red bar wit me!
